A brother of my ggrandfather was William R. Smith.He was born in Franklin County Ohio in 1837.The family moved to Keokuk County Iowa in 1850. They lived there until the family moved in about 1863 to Madison County. However, William and a cousin decided to try the new Dakota Territories. William and his wife Sara moved to Adair County then. They raised their family in that county. In 1870 Census, William was listed as disabled. It is believed that he died in 1911. Can anyone verify this and where he is buried?
