REVEREND W. R. COLE (ADAIR & HENRY CO.)

Rev. William R. Cole is one of nine children born to Solomon and Sarah (Remy) Cole (my GGGrdparents) in Indiana prior to move to Mt. Pleasant (Henry Co.) Iowa. I just received info from a transcript of 1879 Mt.Pleasant Gazette "personals" that William and family had been visiting his "prairie" ranch in Adair County, which leads me here. Other siblings of this family (verified) include Rebecca m Samuel Hutton, Jr. (my GGrdparents), Elizabeth m Thomas Hutton, Robert S. m Mary Jane Hutton, James W., John J., Delilah. Two possibles Sarah m Jacob Moore and Stephen m Lucinda Edwards. James W. and Robert S. established a lightning rod and pump business in Mt. Pleasant which was later incorporated to include the two younger brothers William R. and John J., and known as "Cole Bros., Inc."

This Cole family has been very elusive to me for over 20+ years until recently. Any leads would be appreciated and I'd be happy to share what I have.
