TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:

I am in search of Stephen D. Scarlett: Grt., grt. grandson of Buford L. Scarlett: the last surviving member of the 16th Tennessee Infantry. I would appreciate any information that you could give me on this aged veteran of the the 16th Tennessee Infantry. I have been researching this regiment and the Battle of Perryville, KY, for over 20 years.
