I am looking for any information I can find on Henry and Emily Griffin. I saw their name on the 1875 platt map. Henry settled in Grove Township after the Civil war, and brought his fiance from Devonshire, England. He served with the First Michigan Cavalry under George Custer. He came to America from Devonshire, England in 1860, and when he was living in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, he enlisted in the Northern Army Cavalry. After the war he settled in Grove township where three of his children were born. I'm looking for anything I can find here, and would love to find a picture of him. There are none available in my family.
