Donald V.Handley, 74, of Siloam Springs, Arkansas and formerly of Greenfield, died July 11, 1988, following a long illness. He was born in Greenfield in 1914.
Funeral services will be held at Siloam Springs at 2p.m. Thursday, July 14 at the Methodist Church, then there will be open visitation at the Steen Funeral Home in Greenfield after 9a.m. Saturday, with a committal service at the Fontanelle Cemetery at 2p.m. Saturday.
Don was a member of the VFW Post #1674, the Illinois Masonic Lodge, Order of Eastern Star 221, the Greenfield American Legion and was a Veteran of the U.S.Air Force of W.W.2
He moved to Arkansas in 1952, and was in the automotive industry.
He is survived by his wife, the former Marybelle Hains of Siloam Springs and a daughter Linda Diane Allison of Tulsa, Oklahoma and a brother John S.Handley of Turlock, California.
There are also 3 surviving sisters in California, Gertrude M.Kerr of Cupertina, Laura E.Farrell of San Francisco and Bethel L.McCarty of Larkspur. There are no grandchildren.
