Mrs. John G. Foster Takes Own Life
Mrs. John G. Foster, aged 47, living south of Nevinville, Iowa, (took) her own life by drinking strychnine, some time Monday morning. Mr. Foster found his wife's body lying on the living room floor of the home, when he returned from Creston about 1:30 Monday afternoon. No cause was given for the act. Mrs. Foster before her marriage was Mabel Moyer, and a resident of Richland township. She is survived by her husband, two daughters, Mrs. Nellie Pierson of Clarinda and Mrs. Darline Ruff of Cromwell, two sons, Ray, of Orient and Earl, at home and one brother, Arthur Moyer, of Wever, Iowa. Funeral services were held at 2:30 Wednesday afternoon at the Congregational church in Cromwell. Rev. E. Carnell Wilson officiated. Burial was made in Cromwell cemetery.
