Robert H. Graden

Robert H. Graden was born in Bridgewater, Iowa on Feb. 12. 1889.
His parents were Thomas ans Lilly Graden, both of whom came from Scotland.
When he was a young man his family moved to Republican City, Nebr.
From there he entered military service in World War I and served as corporal in Co. G, 355th Infantry, 89th Divison in the American Expeditionary Forces in France.
After the war, Robert and his parents moved to a farm west of Wilsonville, Nebraska.
In January, 1930 he was married to Mrs. Margaret Murphy.
During the years he has maintained his interest in his work, his community, his family and friends, and kept his membership in the American Legion.
After s short illness, Robert passed to his rest on Jan. 10, 1971 at Cambridge, Nebr.
He leaves his wife Margaret, his family, James and Dora Warden of Mobile, Alabama and their daughter Kathleen Mason of Atlanta, Georgia, James and Betty Murphy and Dale Murphy of Wilsonville, Nebr, and one sister Mary Sexton on Yucapia, California,One brother,George and his wife Evvie of Yucapia, California, one sister-in-law, Hazel Graden of Denver, Colorado, four nephews, six nieces, several cousins and many friends.
Three brothers, Dave, Andrew and Jim preceded him in death.
