Lucas "Luke" Tyler Fagan, 18, of Slater, died June 6 as the result of injuries suffered in a motor vehicle accident south of Slater.
Luke was born May 28,1986 in Des Moines, the son of Michael & Renee [Oaks] Fagan.
He lived in Slater the pasdt 5 years & in Ankeny prior to that.
Luke was a 2004 graduate of North Polk High School.
Heenjoyed disc golfing.
Luke was preceded in death by his grandmother June Fagan.
He is survived by his parents Michael & Renee Fagan of rural Slater; brother Benjamin Fagan of rural Slater; grandparents Robert & Dorothy Oaks of Adair; grandfather Ambrose Fagan of Alleman; aunts & uncles Melinda & Dan DeVriese of Des Moines, Julie & Jeff Schow of St.Paul, Minn., John & Diane Hyland of Coon Rapids, Jim & Sandy Fagan of Ames, Patricia Ingersol of Des Moines.
Funeral services were held Wednesday June 9 at Slater United Methodist Church.
A memorial has been established in his name.
