Elton Herr 78, of Fontanelle, passed away Monday Sept.13,2004 at Adaif County Memorial Hospital in Greenfield.

Funeral services will be held Thursday Sept.16 at 10:30 a.m. at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Fontanelle.

Friends may call at Steen Funeral Home in Fontanelle on Wednesday noon to 8 p.m. The famiy will meet friends Wednesday evening 6-8 p.m.

Burial will be in the Greenfield Cemetery with Military Graveside Rites by the Fontanelle American Legion Carlson Post No.247.

Elton is survived by his wife Maxine Herr of Fontanelle; sons Steve of Belleville, N.J. and Doug of Fontanelle; brother Arnold of Minden; sisters Velma Victora of Orient; Verline Archer and husband Dean of Orient; Mary Shirley and husband Dick of Massena.
