Mary L.Buckner daughter of Brady Liston and Louise Liston was born at Moundsville,W.Vir. January 16,1884.

In young womanhood she was married to Peter Hinderman. To this union were born 3 sons, all are deceased.

On Dec.25,1919 she was married to Oliver Buckner and to this union was born a daughter Mrs.Olive Sorensen.

Left to mourn her is her husband Oliver of Guthrie Center; 1 sister Mrs.Minnie Caldwell; her daughter Olive Sorensen and 7 step-children Ivan Buckner of Pablo, Calif.;Ernest deceased; George Buckner of Fontanelle; Charley Buckner of Englewood, Colorado; Lynn Buckner of Wiota, Iowa; Leona Parker of Des Moines; LaRena Garside of Massena.

Mrs.Buckner passed away at the Atlantic Memorial Hospital March 18,1950 at the age of 66 years, 2 months and 2 days.

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 2 p.m. at the Funeral Home in Anita, Iowa. Rev. H.D.Butts Pastor of the Anita Methodist Church had charge of the service.

The pallbearers were Donald Sorensen, Adolph Anderson, Paul Ehrman, Carl Claussen, and Howard and Kenneth Marean.

Interment was in the Anita Cemetery.
