Obituary

Died at her home in Adair county, May 11th, 1904, after a lingering illness, Mary L. Cutter, aged 73 years, 10 months and 22 days. She was born in Morgan county, Ill., in 1830. When a child she with her parents moved to Missouri. At the age of 16 she was married to Hiland Bunce. To this union was born seven children, five daughters and two sons all of whom survive her except one son who died in infancy. In 1862 she with her family moved to Iowa, loosing her husband on April 8, 1871. She was married in 1872 to W. L. Cutter, who departed this life Nov. 8, 1895. She became a Christian in early life, and enjoyed the esteem of all who knew her.

The funeral services were held from the home conducted by Rev. E. E. Bennett of the Christian Church of Winterset, after which the remains were tenderly laid to rest in the Roberts cemetery.
