GIRARD - Souix City

Requiem High Mass was celebrated by Father William Beck Thursday, Jan 7, at 9:30 in St. Boniface's Church, Sioux City, for Mrs. Sarah Anne Girard, who died in St. Joseph's hospital. She was a residnet of Sioux City for the last 22 years. Mrs. Girard was born in Greenfield Feb. 1, 1868. Surviving are her husband, Charles F., of Sioux City; five sons, D.P. Girard of Hinton; C. H. of Carroll; C. F. of Hollywood, Calif; Norbert, with the armed forces in Australia; and C. D. Girard of Lytton; a sister, Mrs. Kate Roche of Menlo; and three brothers, Charles Lillie of Coon Rapids, Nick Lillie of Stuart, and Lee Lillie of California. Burial was in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

She married Charles F. Girard on Nov 15, 1893. He was the son of Francis "Frank" Girard and Adelaide Martin.
Charles F. Girard was born March 12, 1864 and died in 1958 at age 95 in Souix City, IA

Claire F. Girard (1898-19981)
Norbert C. Girard (1899- 194?) died WWII
