The farm home of LeRoy and Levonne Sackett is located in Section 17 of Harrison Township. In 1954 they purchased it from the Filmore Harris estate, who had possession from 1897.

The Sacketts raised feeder pigs, in addition to general farming.

LeRoy's parents were Art and Edith Sackett of rural Greenfield, and Lavonne's parents were Roy and Hazel Phillips of Woodward, Iowa.

Their children are: Roger, Robert, Randy, Richard and Roxan.
