Home of bride's parents Mr. and Mrs. Silas Kimm near Walford.

Married-On January 15th 1895, at 7 o'clock near Walford, Iowa, this county, at the residence of the bride's parents, Mr and Mrs Silas Kimm, Mr. Charles D. Zahrt of Marengo, to Miss Mary Kimm, Rev. Jacob Kimm, officiating. Mr and Mrs Zahrt will soon be residents of Fremont Twsp. He is to be congratulated winning such a bright and handsome young lady who possesses more than ordinary accomplishments. Both bride and groom were beautifully attired and made a fine impression. Miss Emma Paul of Cedar Rapids, was bridesmaid. Mr. Louis F. Kimm of Fairfax, bestman; Mrs John Boddicker of Blairstown, played the wedding march with much ability. Many useful presents were received. There were about one hundred guests, present. After the ceremony and congratulations, a beautiful table was in readiness and everyone was made to feel at home. May the happy couple have many sunny days in their life journey of marriage.

This is to certify that Mr Charles Davis Zahrt of Marengo, in the state of Iowa, and Miss Mary Salome Kimm of Walford in the state of Iowa were joined together in holy matrimony by me, on the 15th day of January in the year of our Lord, One Thousand Eight Hundred and Ninety-five. In presence of Jacob Kimm, Minister of the Gospel, Louis F. Kimm, and Emma Paul
