Vinton
Young Couple Wed At Vinton
On Tuesday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock in the rest room of the court house in Vinton occurred the marriage of Miss Margaret Renz of La Porte City and George Woods, cf this place, Esquire J. F. Allen officiating.
Miss Mary Woods, a sister of the groom, was the only witness.
The bride’s gown was lace over blue silk.
She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Conrad Renz who are farmers near LaPorte. Miss Wood spent the past two months in this locality and has made many friends during her stay here.
The groom is the eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Bert Wood of this place, and has but recently returned from the service.
For the present they are on their honeymoon trip. They expect to follow farming as their occupation. All extend hearty congratulations to the happy pair.
