Belle Plaine Union;
6- 30-1896
At the home of George and Jane Preston in Coralville, Johnson County, IA
Married: Last Tuesday evening, at 5 o'clock, Miss Emma Inek, of Chelsea, and John D. Wilson, Jr., of this city. The wedding was a very quiet affair, and was solemnized by Rev. M. A. Bullock, pastor of the Congregational church of that city. The bride has been a resident of Belle Plaine for several years, and has won through her sweet disposition, a host of warm friends. The groom is well known to everyone having lived here since infancy, and is a young man of good moral habits, and highly respected by all. The wedding was very much of a surprise to everyone except the young people themselves. After the wedding they went directly to the bride's parents in Chelsea, where the bride will remain for a couple of weeks, after which the young couple will make their home in this city; with the groom's father. The Union joins with their many friends in wishing them a happy and prosperous journey over life's sea.-- Belle Plaine Union.
