Blairstown Couple Wed 50 Years Ago.
Family Comes For Holiday Dinner In Tozier Home.
Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Tozier, pioneer residents of Blairstown, celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary on Thursday, Dec. 24. The day was spent quietly but Christmas day a family dinner will be held at the Tozier home. Guests will be immediate family and their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Al Hearst and family of Vinton.
Mr. and Mrs. Tozier were married 58 years ago on the farm four miles northeast of Blairstown where they farmed for a number of years. They moved to Blairstown more than 40 years ago. They are the parents of four children, Mrs. Lin Isham of Dunseith, N. D., Mrs. Al Hearst of Vinton, Mrs. Edna Hoyt and Kenneth who live at home. They also have five grandchildren.
Mr. Tozier is 79 years of age and Mrs. Tozier is 78, although not in robust health they are both active and Mrs. Tozier is able to be about her usual household duties. Their friends will join in offering congratulations in honor of their anniversary.
{Submitter comment: Edgar is the son of Charles True Tozier and Caroline Miner.}
