Young People United Wednesday Afternoon. Louis H. Stoecker and Grace M. Hauser Joined in Matrimony by Rev. Smith.

Louis H. Stoecker and Grace M. Hauser were united in marriage by Rev. L. F. Smith at the Evangelical parsonage Wednesday. February 7, at high noon. The ceremony took place in the presence of a few intimate friends. While Mrs. L. F. Smith played Lohengrin’s wedding march the bridal pair were ushered into the parlor where they were pronounced man and wife.

The bride was beautifully dressed in a gown of Georgietta crepe and carried a bouquet of bride’s roses. The groom wore the conventional black.

After the ceremony the happy couple repaired to the hotel where a three course wedding dinner was served to the bridal party. They left that afternoon for a honeymoon trip through the east. They will be at home on a farm near Newhall after April 1st.

The bride is a daughter of Mr, Mrs. Wm. C. Hauser and is highly esteemed and respected by all who know her. The groom is a young farmer of sterling worth who has numberless friends in and around Van Horne. Their many friends and acquaintances join in wishing them a long and happy married life.
