Are Married At Vinton

Miss Alice Shaull Becomes The Bride Of Mr. Lester Stewart.

On Wednesday, January 21, 1920 at the Presbyterian manse in Vinton occurred the marriage of two popular young people of this vicinity. They were Miss Alice Shaull and Lester Stewart. Rev. Cully officiated. The bride looked lovely in a gown of light blue crepe de chene. She wore a brown hat and coat and the groom wore the conventional black.

They were attended by Miss Fay Stewart, sister of the groom and Mr. Farrell Osborn of Van Horne.

After the ceremony they returned to the homes of the bride's parents. She is the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Shaull, who resides a few miles south of here on the Marengo road. She received her education in the Coon Creek schools and the Blairstown High school.

Her sweet personality has won all whose good fortune it was to know her. She is endowed with the graces which will go far toward the making of a happy home and will make a splendid helpmate for the man of her choice.

The groom is the second son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Stewart who reside northwest of town. He received his education in the home school and Blairstown High School, and has taken a large place among the younger set in the community. Since growing to manhood he has spent his time working on his fathers farm and will make one of the successful farmers cf Benton County.

The young couple will reside on a farm north of Van Horne where they will be at home to their friends after March 15th.

Many hearty greetings and congratulations will follow them to their new home.
