Popular Young Couple Married.
On Wednesday, January 30th in the Lutheran parsonage in Lowden occurred the marriage of Miss Edna Siek and Harvey Schultz, both of Blairstown, Rev. C. J. Pritz, their former pastor officiating. The ceremony was read at 10 o'clock Wednesday morning in the presence of the groom's sister, Mrs. C. J. Pritz and her daughters. They returned home on Thursday. The bride, who is the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Siek, has spent her entire life in this vicinity and is a graduate of the public school here. She is a charming young lady and a favorite among her associates. The groom came here about six years ago with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Schultz from Cedar Rapids and for a time was employed in the Schultz garage. Later he accepted a position in a store in Victor, where he resided until last June when he returned here and again has been employed in the Schultz garage. He is industrios and has won the respect of the community. For the present the happy couple will spend their time in the homes of their parents. The Press and a host of friends extend congratulations and best wishes.
