Married, at the residence of the bride's mother, Aug. 26, 1884, by Rev. M. E. Todd, Mr. Robert Prunty and Miss Alma Smock, both of Liberty township. W. G. Smock assisted as groomsman and Miss Vada Crawford as bridesmaid. - Marcus (Ia.) News.
The bride was a former resident of Benton county. The News says a number of relatives and friends were present to witness the ceremony and congratulate the wedded, and than an elegant supper was served.
