Belle Plaine Young Man Married at Clinton

The marriage of J. Leroy Nichols and Miss Corrine Z. Arnold took place at Clinton Thursday evening. Mr. Nichols is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Nichols of this place and is known to many Belle Plaine people. The following was taken from the Clinton Advertiser in regard to the wedding:.

"At 8:30 o'clock last evening at the home of the groom's sister, Mrs. Thomas Moran of Camanche avenue, took place the marriage of J. Leroy Nichols and Miss Corrine Z. Arnold. The ceremony was performed by Rev. E. B. Dean, pastor of First Congregational church, and witnessed by a number of friends of the contracting parties.

The bride and groom are well known and popular. The bride was formerly chief operator in the Central office of the Tri-City Telephone Co. Both have hosts of friends, all of whom will extend best wishes. Mr. and Mrs. Nichols will make their home in this city."
