Silver Wedding At Hauser Home Sunday

Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Hauser Celebrate 25th Anniversary of Wedding.

About sixty friends and relatives dropped in on Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Hauser Sunday afternoon to help this worthy couple celebrate their silver wedding. Just twenty-five years ago last Sunday, Februray 18, 1892, they were united in marriage at the home of Mrs. Hauser’s brother-in-law, D. W. Bardo, at Platte, S. D.

The afternoon was pleasantly passed in music and conversation and a three course dinner was served at 4:30. Mr. and Mrs. Hauser were presented with many beautiful and useful gifts of silver. Their many friends and acquaintances unite in wishing them two more twenty-five year periods of wedding happiness.

Those present were Mr. and Wrs. W. C. Hauser and family, Mr. and Mrs. J. G. Gallman and daughter, Selma, Rev. and Mrs. L. F. Smith, Mr. and Mrs. H. G. Schulze and family, Mrs. Minnie Andrews, and family, Mr. and Mrs. H. Pohlman, Mr. and Mrs. Hou Humphrey and family, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Tyler, Mr. and Mrs. Lou Stoecker. Mr. and Mrs. Lester Hauser and baby, Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Gallman, Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Steigelmeyer and son, Roy, Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Johnson, Mr. and Mrs. Arden Schulze and family, Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Schulze, Harry Schultz, Mr. and Mrs. N. W. Woltersdorf and family, Raymond, Merle and Orlen Blue, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Ohlen of Newhall, Mrs. Rehder and family, Erie Stevens, Ella Formanek, Mrs. J. Sheneberger of Cedar Rapids. D. W. Bardo of Platte, S. D.
