Dr. and Mrs. J.C. Glenn will note golden anniv.
Dr. and Mrs. J.C. Glenn, 115 5th Ave. N.E., Independence, will observe their golden wedding anniversary on Sept. 6. A mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick's church in Cedar Rapids. Following the mass a brunch will be served for the family. Open house for the couple's friends will be held at the Knights of Columbus club rooms from 2 to 5 o'clock. The Glenns were married Sept. 8, 1909 in Cedar Rapids. Dr. Glenn practiced Veterinary Medicine in Norway for many years.
They have three children, David of Frankfurt, Ind., George of Waterloo and Mrs. Harold Trosky of Cedar Rapids and also eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
