Wedding Is One Of Beauty.

Miss Nettie G. Larsen Becomes Bride of Mr. Omer R. Farrell In Pretty Ceremony.

The marriage of Miss Nettie G. Larsen and Omer R. Farrell marks the union of two well known and highly respected families of this vicinity and look place Wednesday, morning December 31st at 9:30 o'clock at, St. Joseph’s Catholic church, west of Cedar Rapids, the Rev. E. P. Donnelly of Fairfax officiating.

A three course breakfast was served at the home of the groom’s parents immediately after the ceremony. The dining room was decorated in pink and white with white streamers in the doorway. White Chrysanthemums decorated the center of the table.

Those present were a few relatives and friends of the young couple.

The bride wore a blue traveling suit of broadcloth with hat to match and carried a bouquet of bridal roses.

Mrs. Emery Weichman, sister of the groom was bridesmaid. She wore a suit of blue with fur trimmings and carried pink and white carnations.

Emery Widfhman acted as best man.

The bride is the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Larsen and Norway has always been her home.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. M. G. Farrell and grew to manhood on the farm east of Atkins and was with the army in France for six months.

The bridal couple received many gifts including silverware, cut glass and money.

Music was furnished by Mr. and Mrs. E. G. Young. After the return trip they will reside on the groom’s farm four miles west of Fairfax.
