A Morning Wedding
Miss Lillian Munsell Married to Theodore DeBower
The marriage of Miss Lillian Williams Munsell to Theodore DeBower was solemnized Wednesday morning at nine o'clock, Rev. R. S. Osgood officiating. The ring service was used and the service made very impressive. During the ceremony Miss Lula Zalesky rendered instrumental music. The bride was attired in white silk and carried a bouquet of white carnations. On account of the ill health of the bride's mother the wedding was a very quiet affair, only a few of the intimate friends of the bride being present. After congratulations refreshments were served.
Mrs. DeBower is one Belle Plaine's young ladies, having grown to womanhood here, and her large circle of friends here wish her much happiness in her married life. She has been popular in social circles and is a young lady of exceptional ability, and has pleased many audiences with her sweet singing. She has been a faithful member of the St. Cecilla and Portia clubs of the city and will be much missed by her club associates. For the past two or three years Mrs. DeBower has been in the millinery business in Belle Plaine, and was recognized as successful business woman.
Mr. DeBower is an employe [sic] in the C. & N.W. offices at Boone where he is known for his sterling qualities. The bride and groom drove to the colonies after the wedding, and after their return from there they will visit in Chicago. They will make their home in Boone, going to housekeeping there when they return from their wedding trip. Mr. and Mrs. DeBower received many elegant presents which attests the esteem in which they were held by their friends.
