Celebrate Fiftieth Wedding Anniversary

The account of the golden wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. T. B. Code, pioneer residents of this was taken from a Belle Plaine paper of recent date:.

"Mr. and Mrs. T. B. Code of Blairstown, celebrated their golden wedding anniversary on Sunday, October 4th, 1925.

They were invited to the home of their daughter, Mrs. J. R. Hannen, 1212 12th street in this city, to spend the day. On arriving they found their children and families all assembled and were reminded that it was their Golden Wedding Anniversary. The dining room was decorated in white and gold.

At noon a bountiful dinner was served, the center piece being a beautiful white and gold wedding cake brought my Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Code of Clinton.

Out of town guests were their son Wilette Coder and wife of Paulina, and son Chas. Code and his wife of and son Wayne of Clinton.

The grandchildren were all present except Miss Adean Coder of Paulina and Frank Hannen of Washington, D. C. A number of friends called in the afternoon to extend their congratulations.
