Young Couple Is United In Marriage At Marion
August Claussen and Clara Severin Joined in Matrimony at Marion This Afternoon
August H. Claussen and Clara Severin were united in the holy bonds of matrimony at the Methodist parsonage in Marion this afternoon at 1 o'clock by Rev. Wilcox. They were attended by Mrs. J. E. Thompson and Mrs. W. E. Kerman sisters of the bride.
The bride was clad in a green satin wedding gown and the groom wore a black suit.
After the ceremony the bridal party repaired to the Montrose hotel in Cedar rapids where a wedding dinner was served at 6 o'clock. The bridal couple returned to Sylvia, or Lousia as it is better known, where they will make their future home.
The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Severin and is one of Van Horne's most popular young ladies. The groom is an operator at Sylvia and formerly filled the same capacity here. During the time he spent here he made a multitude of friends. The many friends and acquaintances of this estimable young couple tender their congratulations and best wishes for a long and happy married life.
