BENTON COUNTY NEWS

Norway, June 17.-Miss Irene Simoens, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Simoens of Norway, and Franklin Boddicker, son of John F. Boddicker of Newhall, were married Tuesday morning at 9 a.m. at St. Michael's church at Norway. The Rev. William Kunkle performed the double ring ceremony at the nuptial mass.

The bride wore white silk marquisette trimmed with lace with a long train. Her veil was finger tip length, and the cap was trimmed with seed pearls. She carried white roses, gardenias, and carnations. Her only attendant was her sister, Mrs. Vernon Schmidt of Watkins. Mrs. Schmidt's dress was orchid. She carried yellow roses and carnations. Her head trim was of flowers to match the bouquet and orchid veil that fell to the shoulders.

The bridegroom's brother, Robert Boddicker, served as best man.

Breakfast was served at the Harold Boddicker home at Norway. The reception was held at the home of the bride's parents, and dinner was served to 40 guests. A wedding dance was given in honor of the couple at Newhall.
