Married. Thursday, November 24, 1904, Mr. Jos. M. Alden and Miss Edna N. Meek, by Rev. Francis Archer of Cedar rapids, at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Holmes in this city. The bride and groom have always lived in this community and start out in life's pathway with the best wishes of their many friends. There were about ninety guests present to witness the uniting of these lives and left numerous presents in evidence of the esteem in which they are held. Mr. and Mrs. Alden left on the 12;12 a.m. train for St. Louis and on their return will begin housekeeping at Cedar Rapids.
