Martha Jane Brewer was born Nov. 8th, 1846 in Greenwood, Johnson County, Indiana to
David V. Brewer &
Clarinda Smock.
Martha married Albert Thornton Edwards on August 24th, 1865 in Greenwood, Johnson
County, Indiana.
Martha & Albert had 11 children all born in Vinton, Benton County, Iowa:
Anna Chellan, Cornelius Everett, James Ernest,
Cora Ellen, Katie Leland, Lola Bella, Ethel May, Vivi
Josephine, Walter Arble, Mabel Jeanette and Margaret Pearl.
Martha died on Jan 8th, 1929 in Vinton,
Iowa and is buried at Evergreen Cemetery in Vinton Iowa.
