Clara I. Weisert
Mrs. Clara Isabelle Weisert, 622 Upton avenue, died at 2:30 a.m. Wednesday in Presbyterian hospital of a cerebral hemorrhage. She had been a patient there the past four days.
Born Feb. 5, 1883, in Clayton county, Ia., daughter of John and Mary Westcott, she was married to John F. Weisert Mar. 1, 1900 at Vinton, Ia. He preceded her in death several years ago.
Mrs. Weisert came here from Benton county and was living with her daughter, Mrs. Marguerite Bolin.
She was a member of the Christian church at Mt. Auburn, Ia.
Surviving are four sons, Harry, in the marines at Camp Pendeleton, Cal.; Clifford, Garrison, Ia.; George, Route 2, Waterloo, and Burdette, Dysart, Ia.; one daughter in addition to Mrs. Bolin, Mrs. Katie Bonestell, Shellsburg, Ia.; four brothers, William Westcott, 45 Mulberry street, Fred, 1213 1/2 West Third street, Jake, Union, Ia., and Everett, Route 4, Waterloo; 24 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
The body was taken to Kearns Garden chapel.

Funeral services for Mrs. Clara I. Weisert, 61, Route 4, who died Wednesday, at Presbyterian hospital, will be at 1:15 p.m. Friday at Kearns Garden chapel and 2:30 p.m. at the Mt. Auburn Christian church, Rev. R. V. Eggleston, pastor of that church, will officiate at the both services. Burial will be in Engledow cemetery at Mt. Auburn.
