Mrs Wm Wehrman, 53 of Luzerne Dies

Luzerne, Dec 5--Mrs William C. Wehrman, died at her home here yesterday after an illness of two weeks. Funeral arrangements will be made after word is received from her son, Duane, stationed at Camp Claiborn, La. The latter had just returned to camp after being called here by his mother's ilness.
As Emma Wilhelmine Maria Studt, she was born in Luzerne June 19, 1889. She was married June 3, 1908 to William C. Wehrman. Mrs Wehrman was a member of the Luzerne Lutheran church, the Ladies Aid, and an active member in the Farm Bureau. They retired from the farm two years ago.
In addition to her husband and son Duane, she is survived by a daughter, Mrs Milan Luedtke of Garrison; two grandchildren, Billy and Janet Luedtke, and one brother, Rudolph Studt of Luzerne

Services Held for William Wehrman

Luzerne, July 29.--Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon for William Wehrman 63, at the Lutheran church here. Rev Fred Voigtmann officiated. Burial was in the Lutheran cemetery south of town.
Mr Wehrman died at his home in Luzerne Tuesday. He had been in ill health for several years. He was born July 31, 1886 in Iowa Township where he grew to manhood. He married Emma Studt at Luzerne June 3, 1908. He farmed for awhile, later was engaged in the trucking business. He served as town assessor here for several years.
Surviving are a son, Duane of Luzerne and a daughter, Mrs Milan Luedtke of Garrison and two grandchildren. One brother, Ed Wehrman of Belle Plaine, one sister, Mrs A. M. Roth of Luzerne, two half sisters, Mrs Mary Steinford of Blairstown and Mrs Rosa Jahnke of Luzerne and a half-brother, August Wehrman of Aberdeen, Miss, also survive. Mrs Wehrman died in December of 1942.
