SHELLSBURG
Augusta Walker
Mrs. Carlton Walker, of California, passed away last week at the age of 84 years. The body was brought here Monday for burial, accompanied by the son, Fed Walker and granddaughter Lola Walker. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock at the Baptist church, Rev. J. W. Thompson conducting the same. Mrs. Walker resided west of this city for many years and has a host of friends here. She leaves her only son, Fred Walker, and six grandchildren. A large number of friends from Linn County attended the services. Interment was in the Shellsburg Cemetery.
