Harley P. Van Dyke
Harley P. Van Dyke, route 3 Cedar Rapids, a machinist for Allis-Chalmers Co. before his retirement in 1965 and a life-long resident of Cedar Rapids and vicinity died in Iowa City Friday following a brief illness. He was born Feb 15, 1902, in Benton county.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Glen Lorenz of Independence; one grandson, and a sister, Mrs Willis Bruce of Shellsburg. Services; Turner chapel 1:30 Saturday by the Rev John Wheatley. Burial: Shellsburg...

Susan Van Dyke
Mrs. Van Dyke an aged resident of Shellsburg died at the home of the daughter Mrs. Geo. Greenwood, aged in years. She was a member of the M.E. church a faithful worker, and will be greatly missed by the community. Her last illness lasted about four weeks. The funeral was conducted by Rev. Elderage.
