Norway, April 27.-Charles Trojvosky, 75, a resident of Benton county nearly sixty years, died Sunday at his home here. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. in St. Michael's Catholic church by the Rev. Wm. Knukle. Burial will be in St. Michael's cemetery. His death followed an attack of influenza.

Born in Bohemia, Oct. 15, 1860, Mr. Trojvosky came to the United States in 1877, locating in Benton county. For many years he operated a brick and tile plant here. In recent years he did shoe repairing, working at his trade until last Tuesday. He was married Sept. 11, 1883, at Norway, to Lena Walters, who survives him.

Six children living are: John M., Elizabeth, and Henry Trojvoksy, all of Norway, Mrs. Anna Boddicker of Newhall, Mrs. Katherine Smith of Cedar Rapids, and Louis Trojvosky of Chicago. Other members of his family are seventeen grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Mrs. John Dusil of Marengo is a sister of the deceased.

Obituary
Mary Anna Trojovsky

Mary Anna, daughter of William and Gertrude Siepman, was born at Blairstown, Iowa, on January 14, 1885 and passed away at her home in Norway, Iowa, Thursday, June 14th, 1940. She came to Norway with with her parents when quite and attended the parochial school and grew to womanhood here. She was united in marriage to John Trojovsky, May 17, 1903. Four children were born to them, two girls, Mrs. Esther Primrose of Norway Annette at home, two sons, Victor of Washington, Iowa, and Harold of Cleveland, Ohio.

Besides her husband and children, she is survived by ten grandchildren, two brothers, Henry Siepman of Cedar Rapids, Barney address not known, two sisters, Mrs. Louie Riddleman of Davenport, and Mrs. Delbert Garwood of Norway, Iowa.

J. Krieboldt and John Joe, Mrs. Lena Dinger and Alvin, and Mrs. Kurt Wunsch, all of Davenport; Mr. and Mrs. Fredrick Miller of Decorah; Mr. and Mrs. Wm Miller and Henry Herring of Iowa City; Mrs. Peter Weisse, Mrs. Lester Weisse, Mrs. Fred Schneider, Mrs. Emma Offt, Herman Sindt, all of Keystone; Mrs. Minnie Kading of Van Horne; Mr. and Mrs. Victor Trosky and family of Washington, Ia., and Mr. and Mrs. Hal Trosky of Cleveland, Ohio; Rose and Paul Pickart of Tucson, Arizona; Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Trosky of Chicago; Tony Ketrick of Berwyn, Ill., Mr. and Mrs. John Dusil Marengo, and Mr. and Mrs. John McIntieer and Edward of Belle Plaine, Iowa.
