Scott was born Dec. 14, 1963, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Conrad and Diann Fiebelkorn Svoboda. He married Rebecca Wenger on Sept. 21, 1996, in Cedar Rapids.
Scott is survived by his wife, Becky Svoboda of Shellsburg; parents, Conrad and Diann Svoboda of Cedar Rapids; sons, Mike (Angie) VanderHeiden of Atkins, Mat VanderHeiden of Shellsburg, Marshall (Kaylea) Schneider of Billings, Mont.; a daughter, Mayse Schneider (Jason Grimm) of Shellsburg; seven grandchildren, Dylan, Kaley, Mycala, Kaitlyn, Luke, Darian and Keyten; and his sisters, Dianne (Scott) Mason of Amana, and Amy (Joe Petta) Svoboda of New York.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Emil and Irma Svoboda; his maternal grandparents, Harold and Edith Fiebelkorn; and a grandson, Daniel VanderHeiden...
