Mrs. Springer Is Summoned
Isabelle Springer
Mrs. Belle Springer, a former resident of this locality but late of Cedar Rapids, passed away at her home there on Thursday, January 8, 1920.
She was the wife of the late Ira Springer and sister of Mrs. S. Herring, of Los Angeles, Calif., and Mrs. Latge of Luzerne, former residents of this place.
Deceased maiden name was Miss Belle May. She spent her girlhood here where she was well esteemed.
The remains were taken to Belle Plaine and placed in the mosoleum [sic] in the cemetery there.

Mary Springer
Died In Florence Township, Benton County, Iowa, September 16th, 1864, Mary Springer, widow of Aaron Springer, aged 63 years.
The deceased was born in Fayette county, Penn., October 4th, 1801. She connected herself with the Baptist Church in the year 1841, and was to the day of her death an exemplary member of the same, noted for her benevolence and kindness to the poor and afflicted. Shed died without a doubt as to her future state of happiness. Of her family she leaves four sons - among which are Jacob and Samuel Springer of Florence Township - and two daughters to mourn her loss.
