Oak Grove
Dorathy Marie Skea
The little daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Skea was taken quite sick suddenly Friday morning. A local doctor was called, who told them there was no hope. They sent to Vinton for a doctor, but it was no use. She lived until Saturday morning and at seven o"clock she fell asleep. She was seven years of age last August. Dorthy was a little sunbeam in the home. She was a bright child and of a lovable disposition. She will be missed by all who knew her. The funeral was held Monday at 11 o'clock at the Christrian church of Oak Grove. Rev. O. M. Johnson of Central City was in charge of the services. Interment was in the Shellsburg cemetery. Many relatives and friends gathered at the church. Six young ladies were pallbearers. Dorthy leaves to mourn their loss, father and mother and one sister Neva, and a brother, Harold, both at home besides a host of relatives and friends.
