Set Burial Rites for Brandon Man for Friday P.M.

Brandon, Nov. 10--Funeral services for A.R. Pardun, 78, who was stricken with apoplexy yesterday when entering his car at the Nod Miller farm at Cheney, will be held Friday at 2:00 P.M. at the Christian Church at Brandon. Rev. John McKee will have charge of the services. Burial will be in Bear Creek Cemetery. Friends may call at the Fry Funeral Home.
A.R. Pardun was born at Black River Falls, Wis., May 22,1859. He came to Benton County in 1871. In 1889 he was married at Vinton to Lennie Blair, who died June 21,1937. He moved to Brandon from his farm in Harrison Twp. in 1916. He was a member of the Christian Church and the Masonic Lodge.
He is survived by five children: W.F. Pardun, Brandon; Mrs. Clark (Elva) Lockhart; Mrs. Earl (Alma) Kizer; Dr. Russell Pardun, Independence; Miss Nyle Pardun who teaches at Dunkerton. A half-brother, Dell Thatcher of Nelson, Wis. also survives. Five children preceded him in death.
