James Meskimens
Died--James Meskimens, of old age, at the residence of his son, G.W. Meskimens, Dec. 29, 1886. He was in his eighty-fourth year, and he and his wife celebrated their sixtieth anniversary of married life. His wife still survives him. He was among the oldest settlers of Canton township, having resided there for about thirty-five years. His remains were interred in the old Crawford cemetery about a mile east of this place.
