MRS. DAVID LUSK IS LAID TO REST An old and respected citizen of Big Grove
Wealthy J. Lusk

Wealthy McCoy was born near Ithica New York 18 May 1822 and died in Garrison Iowa September 23 1907 aged 85 years 4 months and 4 days.

She was united in marriage to David C. Lusk April 14 1852 and to this union was born three daughters Mary Barker of Marshalltown Frances T Tyler of Garrison and Ella Harwood of Stockton Kansas all who survive her. Mrs.Lusk with her husband and Daughters moved from New York to Iowa in 1870 locating permanently at Geneva Big Grove Township Benton County in 1871 where she remained till coming to Garrison a few years ago.

In the early part of her life she united with the Presbyterian Church and long as her strength permitted was a regular attendant upon church services. The Companion of many years was laid to rest March 16 1904. There is left to mourn her death three daughters and one brother Harvey McCoy of Allison Iowa. The funeral was held from Latre home the services being in charge of Rev. B.B Keister of the M E Church Following which her remains were taken to Big Grove Cemetery for Interment
