An Old Settler Gone
Joseph Kisling
Joseph Kislng, who has been a resident of this county since 1852 passed quietly away last Sabbath morning at his home near Urbana. Joseph Kisling was born in Wittes county, Virginia, Sept. 21, 1812, and died Jan 31st, 1892, aged 78 years, 4 months, and 10 days. A Brief funeral service was held at the house conducted by Rev. Mershon, of Center Point, and the remains laid to rest in the Kisling cemetery.

Nancy Kisling
Mrs. Kisling, widow of the late Joseph Kisling, died at the home of her son John on Wednesday, the 15th inst., aged about 75 years. She and her late husband settled in this township nearly forty years ago. She leaves one son and two daughters. Funeral Friday from the home of the son, conducted by Rev. Wells.
