Fred J. Kenney Dies Suddenly At Vinton Home

Fred J. Kenney, 61 years old, a resident of Vinton since 1919, died suddenly this morning at his home on East 4th street following a heart attack. He had been down town and upon returning home did not complain of illness. While sweeping a floor he suddenly collapsed and died without regaining consciousness. Mrs. Kenney is an invalid.
Mr. Kenney had been employed during the winter part of the time at the Vinton Produce Co. plant. He was born Nov 7, 1871. The widow and four children are living, Tom. Carl and Lewis Kenney and Mrs. Helen Crow, all of Vinton.
Services will be held Friday at 2 30 p. m. at the Young & Co. funeral parlors by the Rev. H. Harrell of the Foursquare church. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
