Annie Margarette Howland
Annie Margarette, daughter of Andrew and Margaret Ortschied, was born September 18, 1873, at Belle Plaine, and died at the same place, Sunday, Feb. 20, 1898. She was married to E. E. Howland, September 18, 1892, in Belle Plaine. Two children were born of this marriage, Beatrice and Harold, both of whom survive to mourn and miss a mother's presence and love. She was taken sick with consumption June 28, 1897, but was able to set up most of the time.
