Laverne Hanson
Vinton - Mrs. Victor Hanson, 32, of Jackson township, Sunday afternoon at the University hospital at Iowa City; had suffered from a heart disease for several years and had been seriously ill the last six months; a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elling Ellingson of Vinton, she was born Mar. 30, 1913, at Norway; married to Victor Hanson Aug. 18, 1937 at the Little Brown church in Nashua; leaves husband and seven-year-old son, James; parents, grandmother; Mrs. Martha Peterson, and the following brothers and sister. Arthur Ellingson, Dysart; Ellis Ellingson, Council Bluffs; Mrs. Raymond Stevenson, Vinton, and Edward Ellingson, North Hollywood, Cal.; funeral Thursday at 2:30 p.m. at the Methodist church in Vinton; burial in Evergreen cemetery.
