Martin Griesy
Van Horne - Funeral Services conducted by Rev. P. L. Davis Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Evangelical church for Martin H. Griesy, 79; who died at his home Sunday night. Burial was in Salem Evangelical cemetery southeast of Van Horne. Attending the funeral from a distance were Mrs. Martha White, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Cook, Mr. and Mrs. Harold White, Mrs. Mervin Belnap and her daughter all of Perry, Cato Griesy, Mrs. George Gohz and Chester Luick of Belmond, Mr. and MRs. Conrad Hoefling, Pearl and Lucille Hoefling and Martin Messer of Odeboldt, Mrs. Hagen and June, Mr. and Mrs. Buster Woods and son of Cedar Rapids.
