Norma June Gould
SHELLSBURG.
Norma June Gould, 63, of Eufaula, Okla., formerly of Shellsburg, died Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2002, in her home after a short illness. Memorial services were Friday. Hunn, Black & Merritt Funeral Home, Eufaula, was in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include her daughters, Gayle (Don) Palmer, Lisbon, Angie (Victor) Young, Granite City, Ill., and Beverly (Jon) McGahan, Chicago; brothers, George Gillis, Dysart, Lou Gillis, Vinton, and Ron Mitchell (Sue), Jennings, Mo.; sisters, Sherry (Frank) Ham, Eufaula, Okla., Arlene Garvin, Northfork, Va., and Dorothy (Leonard) Armstrong, Atkins; four grandchildren, Andrea and Laura Young and Anthony and Ronald Mahoney; two stepgrandchildren, Heather Hansen and Josh Palmer; and five great-grandchildren, Tabitha Mally, Dylan, Shaunna and Logan Palmer and Kyla Hansen. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Gould; parents, Wesley Gillis, Frank Mitchell and Laura Gillis; and brother, James Gillis.
She was born Oct. 22, 1939, in St. Louis, Mo., and married Arthur Gould on Jan. 28, 1975, in Center Point, Iowa.
