Ira Gilbert
Mr. Ira Gilbert was taken from Vinton to the Insane Hospital at Independence a few weeks ago, died there on Friday of last week. He was one of the old residents of the county, and a few years ago owned a good farm and was financially well to do. He met with reverses which preyed on his mind and was the cause, probably, of the insanity which came upon his several years ago.
