Lavon L. Frank
Lavon L. Frank, 70, of 1507 13 Ave, SW, died Thursday in a car accident on Interstate 80 near Williamsburg. Services will be 10am, Monday, Trinity Lutheran Church. Burial: Shellsburg Cemetery.
Survivors include three sons, Mark of Creston, Lee of Honolulu and Jon of Cedar Rapids; three daughters, Pat Little of Palo, Vonnie Andrie of Fairfax and Dorothy Frank of Cedar Rapids; and four sisters, Eileen Hite of Vinton, Marion Stark of Tucson, Ariz., Connie Schulte of Norway and Audrey Mullinex of Grand Lake, Colo.
Also surviving are 12 grandchildren, Todd and Michele Frank, Jeff and Cary Frank, Joshua and Jessica Frank, Renae, Jodie and David Little, and Tami and Tadd Andrie and Nikki Frank.
Lavon was born July 9, 1920, in Akron, Ohio, and married Clifford W. Frank, Nov. 8, 1944 in Rochester, Minn. He died in 1977. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Chancel Choir and Forever 39 Group, Lavon helped operate Cliff's Snack Bar in the Linn County Courthouse from 1963 to 1975.
